Older homes near the harbour
Much of Balgowlah's housing is older, and older homes are where a switchboard check pays off. Ceramic fuses or missing safety switches are worth knowing about before they become a problem.
Renovating? Plan the lighting and power early. Running cable before the plaster goes up costs far less than chasing it into finished walls afterwards.
