Old boards with ceramic fuses were built for a house with a kettle and a radio. They can't keep up with modern appliances and they don't give you proper safety switch protection. We replace them with a compliant board, RCBO protection, clear labelling and room for whatever you add next.

What does a switchboard upgrade cost?
Switchboard upgrades are quoted as a fixed price once we have seen your board, because every board is different. For smaller jobs our rate is $150 an hour plus GST, with a $100 service fee plus GST.
Do I need a switchboard upgrade?
Not always. If your board still has ceramic fuses or no safety switch protection, it is worth considering. We give you a straight answer after the free switchboard check.
Will you check my switchboard while you are there?
Yes. Every job comes with a free switchboard check and a straight answer on its condition.
