What does an EV charger install cost?
EV charger installs are quoted after we check what your switchboard and supply can handle. For smaller jobs our rate is $150 an hour plus GST, with a $100 service fee plus GST.
Can my switchboard handle an EV charger?
That is the first thing we check. A home charger is a big new load, so we look at your board and supply before quoting, and install the charger on its own circuit.
Will you check my switchboard while you are there?
Yes. Every job comes with a free switchboard check and a straight answer on its condition.
